Ryan was born and raised in Kilkeel, a small town in Northern Ireland known for its centuries-old tradition of stone craftsmanship. Growing up, he was always fascinated by the intricate stone structures that surrounded him, from the majestic castles to the humble cottages.

In 2018, Ryan decided to take his passion for stonemasonry to the next level and moved to Vancouver, Canada, to pursue a career in this field. He had heard that Vancouver was a hub for the stone industry, with many prestigious firms specializing in stonework and restoration.

When he is not working on location, he can be found in his studio creating stone carvings and flint knapping Native American inspired weapons.
